How do I choose a university that is right for me as a person?
1.Websites that were useful:
-How to choose
-Looking ate your options
-Questions you should ask yourself
2.Summary of the information you found that answered the question/topic (this needs to be a well written, informative paragraph or two that others could read and find the answer to the question
As we get closer to graduating the stress starts increasing. We have so many options not just of universities, but of cities... EVEN COUNTRIES. You have to start by that. Where do you want to study? For example I want to study in the United States. Then you need to decide what you want to study and look for universities in the country that offers the courses you need to take the career. After that research the universities and also the state. For example I would love to study in Boston but I would never survive the winter. So I could say i don't want to study in Boston, so then the options are minimized. If you are down to 5-10 options, you need to see if you have the qualities that are needed to be a part of the different universities. It's very likely that you don't meet the qualities in all of them and then your options will be reduced once again. Then you need to look more into the universities reputation and maybe visit a couple of them to really know about them. After all of this you should have made your decision. If you are reading this and are going to apply somewhere I hope this helped.
3.New questions you have about this topic. (at least 1)
After the research I still wonder how long the process of applying to a university is. You take all that time choosing one and then you have to write like a million essays. How do you manage all of that?

Viruses
1.What you know about the topic before your research:
I think that computer viruses are similar to human viruses, well they "attack" your computer and that they can make it slow down or freezes it. Your computer can get viruses if you download something from the internet or click a link that is bad for your computer.
2.What you wonder or questions you have about the topic before researching (at least 2)
1.I wonder what happens inside the computer that makes all of these changes happen inside of the computer.
2.What are some websites you should avoid that give your computer viruses
3 Is it true that Mac computers are guaranteed to not get a virus?
3.Links to where you found the most useful information (at least 2, NOT Wikipedia, although you can use it to help you)
-Very useful information here
-How viruses work
-What is a virus?
4.Bullet list of things you learned about the topic (at least 5)
*There are millions of viruses all over the world
*Viruses do not infect your computer automatically, YOU are the one who does it, for example if you click an email or access a website that is infected your computer will get the virus.
*Viruses may delete files, infect them and make copies of themselves
*Viruses are spread quickly, it can happen only by clicking a link
*Some viruses are made specifically to destroy files
*Some ways of avoiding to get a virus is not opening the content of an e-mail if you don't know what is inside it!
5.A short summary of how this topic connects/relates to you or your life
Viruses connect to my life because all the time I download music and open links i get in my e-mail that they send me. Now I know I have to be more careful when using my computer because even if I know the person that sent me the e-mail, she/he might have gotten the virus too! I have to always make sure the files that I am opening are safe.
6.Questions you still have (at least 1)
I still don't understand what happens inside the computer! The language the wbsites use is very complicated
:(

Google Day 1
Goals:
1. Choose the song for the music video.
2. Do a rough draft of what we are going to do in the video (like the effects we are going to use etc..)
3.Start recording the first few seconds of the video.
Useful links:
-Changing text on Imovie
-Changing text
-Adding sound effects tutorial
1.Song= Call Me Maybe, filming us and people around school to create a fun, funny video with special effects.

2&3:
Today we learned a lot, well we started by the basics. We added very nice text to open our music video, then we added a song. After this we looked at tutorial on how to add sound effects to the video. After doing this we tried it and succeeded! WOHO! Something we failed to do, was to overlap two different songs, but we'll continue to work on that.
Next class we want to learn how to do that and start recording the video at home to put it together.

Google 20%
For our Google 20% project, we are going to manipulate video editing, by using iMovie and other video editing websites. We want to learn how to enhance videos and work with them in different ways. We are going to learn how to do this by watching other peoples videos and various other sources. We have always seen music videos on the internet, and wondered "How do they do that?" Those incredible special effects that make everything look different and fun HOW DO THEY DO THAT?
We are then, going to create a music video by using special effects and changing the light and color of the video. We want to make it at least 3 minutes long, but 3 very special minutes well they're going to be awesome. People will be surprised on what we will be able to make. We will record scenes around the city and then put it together in a masterpiece.
WATCH OUT.
